7 July 2026, Online or
30 September 2026 in-person at IET Stevenage: Futures Place
About the training course
Develop the skills and confidence to deliver high-impact, inclusive STEM outreach that attracts and inspires the next generation of talent.
This practical training equips STEM professionals to design and deliver engaging outreach sessions to young student using the My Skills My Life platform. Learn how outreach design, delivery style, and role-model presentation are fundamental to attracting young people into STEM.
The training explores how bias and assumptions shape outreach -particularly how STEM careers are presented and who is seen as a “fit.”
Participants gain practical strategies to reduce bias in their messaging and interactions, helping them create more inclusive outreach with greater reach and impact.
